Veteran Homelessness

Homelessness is a vast, often multi-faceted problem among the veteran population. For some, it is a matter of temporary displacement, or bridging a gap to afford a security deposit; for others, there may be deeper issues that must be addressed first. There are a number of organizations that help veterans and their families deal with the many issues related to homelessness. The VA has a number of programs covering everything from health care, to job placement, to transitional or permanent housing. Visit the VA at http://www.va.gov/homeless/ to learn about the programs available.

In addition to the VA, you can find information about other organizations below, including the Hines Fisher House, True North Project and A Safe Haven.
